Un patrón que he visto en mi investigación es que casi todas la historias tienen que ver con espíritus matando a una personas o con un espíritu vengativo. Muchas de las historias de terror tienen que ver con asesinato. Otro patrón que he visto es que casi todas la historias que he leído tienen que ver con espíritus, brujas, o fantasmas.
